Have USDC on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BSC, or Avalanche?
Tap the chain pill on the Sell token above to switch source chain. Relay bridges to Base in one transaction, then the PSM mints kUSD 1:1 at a size-tiered fee.
Redemption depth, read from the reserves
- Instant, one transaction
- $995 USDC, 89.66% of outstanding kUSD
- Total reachable
- $1,110 USDC in sequential transactions
Each PSM pays redemptions only out of its own USDC reserve, and one swap touches one contract. So the single-transaction ceiling is the deepest reserve listed above, never the sum of them. Anything larger settles as sequential transactions against those same contracts, smallest covering reserve first, which keeps the deepest one available for larger exits. There is no external pool and none is implied: no secondary venue holds kUSD at a depth that could serve a redemption.
These figures describe the reserves as they stand right now, which is the exit facing a holder who did not mint through the live leg. A mint deposits its USDC into the live mint PSM, so a redeemer who minted at size is served largely by their own deposit and should read the live mint row above rather than the deepest one. Redemption is at one to one less the published size-tiered fee, quoted live in the swap card above for the amount you enter, never at par.
Depth is not a safety claim. A PSM has no admin withdrawal, so USDC leaves one only through a redemption or a fee skim, but the reserve is not remote from governance: the multisig can mint kUSD and can top up or draw the reserves, and the deployed kUSD contract carries an ungated burn. Read these numbers as what the door can pay today, not as a guarantee about tomorrow.
Every figure above is read from Base and served as JSON at /api/por under redemptionDepth, with no key and no wallet, so you can check every balance against the chain before you send anything. Block 50,034,037. Read as of Aug 16, 05:17 UTC.
